September 12 - 14, 2018 the XIV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Dynamics of Technical Systems" (DTS-2018) was held. The event was organized by the Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the October local branch of SoyuzMash of Russia and OPTEC LLC. The conference was opened by Besarion Chokhoevich Meskhi (chairman of the conference, rector of the DSTU,  doctor of technical sciences, and professor), and also Alexander D. Lukyanov (Scientific Secretary of the Conference), and  Maxim S. Minkin (Head of Department of Scientific Research).

The conference program included the work of five sections:

  • Fundamentals of mechanics, dynamics and tribology of machines

  • Non-linear Dynamics and Applied Synergetics in technical systems

  • Issues of creation and mechanics of heterogeneous and composite materials

  • Fundamental methods of system analysis, modeling and optimization of dynamic systems

  • Cognitive methods of heterogeneous data analysis (collection, processing of digital signals in the presence of the noise, including intelligent analytical systems)

In the framework of the section "Non-linear Dynamics and Applied Synergetics in technical systems", a thematic lecture and seminar was held by the company 3B Service LLS on the topic: "SimInTech Technology" for modeling, developing and creating ACS.

The conference was attended by both well-known scientists and young researchers, including students, undergraduates and graduate students.
